- The New Road
Marie, "Mi" among her friends, and I are still regarded as a nice couple. Just after we had met, the local newspaper used to mention us as "Our own Ken and Barbie" which I never liked. The simple reason was that both of us were well-known and popular sport stars in our small town. I was the star in our successful soccer team and Mi, who was National Champion in archery, was even regarded as the "Belle the town" and very often hired for local model jobs.
